Alisha is an early-career ecologist who has an interest in understudied taxa, such as invertebrates and fungi. She holds a Bachelor of Ecology and Conservation Biology (Honours) from Monash University. She is currently undertaking a PhD aiming to determine the role that decomposer organisms play in regulating surface fuels in pyrodiverse landscapes of the Otways, Victoria.
This research will be conducted in collaboration with Eastern Maar as part of a larger project aiming to incorporate cultural values into adaptive management. Her research is supervised by Dr Jack Pascoe, Dr Megan Good and Dr Sarah McColl-Gausden.
