Emily McColl-Gausden (she/her)

PhD Candidate

The University of Melbourne

Emily is a PhD student working predominately on environmental DNA (eDNA) sampling and detection methods. She is particularly interested in the application of eDNA methods to different ecological questions such as bushfire recovery and large-scale sampling projects. Emily’s work spans the eDNA sampling process from fieldwork to statistical analysis and uses various ecological modelling techniques such as site occupancy detection models.
