Gerry is a Senior Research Officer with the Infectious Disease Ecology and Modelling team at the Perth-based Telethon Kids Institute, and an Honorary Research Fellow in the Infectious Disease Dynamics Unit in the Melbourne School of Global and Population Health at the University of Melbourne.

Gerry’s research covers a range of applied decision-making problems and quantitative methods development in conservation science and public health. He has worked on a range of species from bryozoans to dolphins to waterbirds, but his current focus is on the ecolgy of malaria vectors in Africa.
