Guru is Senior Research Fellow at the Pyrenean Institute of Ecology (IPE), within the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). She was formerly a Senior Lecturer/Researcher at QAECO and a Principal Investigator in the group where she worked for almost a decade. Guru specialises in ecological modelling, with a focus on the advancement, evaluation, and application of wildlife monitoring methods and approaches for predicting current and future species distributions.
