Guru is Senior Research Fellow at the Pyrenean Institute of Ecology (IPE), within the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). She formerly was Senior Lecturer/Researcher at QAECO, and a Principal Investigator in the group, where she worked for almost a decade. Guru specialises in ecological modelling, with a focus on the advancement, evaluation, and application of wildlife monitoring methods and of approaches for predicting current and future species distributions.
