Jordan holds dual master’s degrees in Ecosystem Science & Conservation (Duke University) and City & Regional Planning (UNC–Chapel Hill), and a B.S. in Biology and Environmental Science from Dickinson College. He is a PhD candidate in the Quantitative and Applied Ecology (QAEco) lab at the University of Melbourne, supervised by Bonnie Wintle and Emily Nicholson. His research advances ecosystem risk assessment and applications of the IUCN Red List of Ecosystems to improve evaluation and management of threatened ecological communities, integrating field data, decision science, and quantitative modelling. His broader goal is to bridge science and policy through transparent, decision-relevant conservation tools.
