Shenali completed a Bachelor of Science majoring in Ecology at the University of Melbourne. She undertook a Master of Science (Biosciences) with QAEco, where she is completed a research project under the supervision of Peter Vesk, Ian Flint and Patrick Baker. She investigated how individual trees are arranged in mixed-Eucalyptus temperate forests using ecological modelling. She now works as a research assistant.
