Shenali completed a Bachelor of Science majoring in Ecology at the University of Melbourne. She is currently undertaking a Master of Science (Biosciences), where she is completing a research project under the supervision of Peter Vesk, Ian Flint and Patrick Baker. She is investigating how individual trees are arranged in mixed-Eucalyptus temperate forests using ecological modelling.
